Was a student at Pune University. and had a theft at my room where I lost my wallet and mobile phone. We had semester exams coming next week and could attent them if I didn't have my College Id card, which was lost along with the wallet. Needed an FIR report to get a new ID. After one whole day of running between the court house and local police station the Inspector told me what he actually wanted. He shamelessly asked for some "Fees" for all the work that they have to do, and if I didn't pay the fees it might take a lot of time to process stuff and write a FIR. We were 3 roomates paid 500 Rs each.
