When my passport verification had come to vishrantwadikar police station they have informed me the same by phone. I went their they directly asked me 300 Rs as it is a fee. As it was very clear that they wont pass my verification without paying I paid though I did not want to. They even not cared where I leave or any identity card. They just said OK we will send your report. I am with ********** Hazare as there is only hope that my son wont pay 300 Rs [may be 3 Lakh] in future...
