After two of my friends signed as my witness, the incharge asked them to leave while i waited with my father. And then he said that this process of passport verification requires a special fees. I was forewarned about this by other friends as well. But I was in urgent need of passport so we didn't argue with him. We paid him Rs.300/-. I know we should have asked for receipt but now that thing has already happened. Many people from our society have the same story.
