After marriage registration I have been given one marriage registration

• Stamps and Registration
• Marriage Certificate

After marriage registration I have been given one marriage registration copy with details of marriage parties and Marriage Registrar signature and stamp but not in the form of any certificate. Earlier I thought it is only the certificate but I don't know it will act as a certificate or not
Please clarify and advise how to get the certificate
