Paid Bribe
Just wanted to show the honesty and promptness of the officials at the Sub-registrar office at BTM Layout, Bangalore. I had to get my marriage registered and except for the waiting time of 2 hrs, didn't have to shell out an extra rupee.
The official also promptly returned 5/-, taking 145/- out of the 150/- I gave the lady officer. This kind of incident, in an age where clerks at any ticket counter tend to keep the small change in their pockets !!
