I needed a police clearance certificate for my germany visa.I needed this certificate within 3 weeks. Just to prove that i am not a criminal AND issue a police clearance certificate within 1 week, i was asked to pay 5000 Rs. Failing to do so will mean atleast 2 months with/without positive results.
All this for a person who has never stepped a police station even to register a complaint,forget about criminal activities.
