On 2nd dec 2012 I was stopped at nakabandhi in juhu, close to amitabh bachchan's house. Routine Checking was going on. I submitted all docs but didnt have valid puc. I was told by cop that current fine/deposit is 1000Rs , and I will get a receipt on the spot. I was carrying 1000rs in my wallet. I asked how will i be able to get the deposit/fine back, he said that i will have to go to andheri court tom morning. the next morning i had work to do. I then decided to settle the scene with a bribe. I gave him 200 and he said that im saving a lot of your time and asked for more. I gave 100 more and told thats and i cant afford more. He let me go. Later i discovered fine is just 100rs. Staying in India I constantly feel that we have to fight for ours rights.
