Paid bribe to file FIR

This happened in August 2010. I was going from office to home on my bike and unfortunately I met with an accident. Therefore I had to file FIR to nearest Police station.
So I went there and explained the situation to hawaldar. He written the story in his book very nicely. At the end I asked him for the copy of FIR and his immediate reaction made me realise his intention. He then softly said "Apni ********** se jo bhi dena hai de do, aapka kaam ho jaayega."
