Payed a bribe to expedite the release of my items

My family moved into Bangalore from Hong Kong. We had all of our furniture, and household items packed and shipped in a container from Hong Kong to Bangalore. We also shipped our Mercedes car in a seperate container. Customs officers upon seeing the imported items said they were to be held indefinitely to 'calculate' duty per item, unless we paid them a 'fee' to expedite. Ended up paying Rs. 4 lakh to collect our stuff and move in. Later found out, that according to the actual duty and valuation, we only owed Rs. 1.5 lakh in duty.
