Reservation in Rajdhani Express

I had to go to Delhi for my office work. I bought waitlisted ticket which unfortunately did not confirm. Since i had to travel, I checked with reservation clerk there and he told to me pay rs. 1000 as he would arrange reservation for me. i paid him rs. 1000 and he cancelled my existing ticket and gave me mumbai - vadodara and vadodara - delhi ticket. since my vadodara delhi ticket was waitlisted and he spoke to TTE and arranged confirmed seat for me.
