12k for renewing a passport!!!
I went to passport office, Hyderabad to get my passport renewed! I stood there for 6 hours and when my chance came, the guy on the counter said your passport cannot be renewed. I was like what, why? Then he said that because the old is damamged. I really dint understand what he was saying. I asked him to clarify. He said that the pages of your passport have turned yellow. I mean what!!! i said, any 10 year old document's pages will become yellow, what a big deal in that? and also, I went there for a NEW passport so how does the yellow pages of my old passport matters? i argued, i tried to convince him! Then finally he asked me to pay 12000 Rs. can you believe it, 12k for renewing a passport. I felt like slapping him! But i just took my documents and came out! and its been 3 months, my passport couldnt get renewed!! This is the condition of our country! whatever happens, I am not ready to pay 12k for a work for not even 2k!!!!!
