I recently applied Passport for me and submitted all the required documents to PSK.when the police rang for verification and we waited and we called but they said dont call this no and also didn't come,and late evening one of the agent of the police come to my home saying that police holds your passport verification,so you need to go to police station tomorrow. we(my husband , father in law and myself) went to police station next day,and showed all our original documents,(Ration card,Birth certificate,Voter ID,Bank passbook,Marriage certificate)but the officer said that you were not there and i will return your verification,and lastly he said i will send the agent to you to finalize.Agent asked me to go to police station at 4 pm,and i went and the agent also there in police station and he talked to officer over the phone and he said that officer once again refused to validate,and finally he said that if i pay 1500,then only verification will be done.I said to the agent that i will not pay 1500 rupees and but he said come again at 6.30 we will discuss this again,but i said i will not come and i will not pay 1500 and i said i will face this legally as we have already having passport in the same address for my other family members and left the police station.
Note:
later we found that the telephone number which (police)rang to us is the same telephone number of the agent.and this agent old house is nearest to our home and he knows very well.
