Bribe for getting seat in IR
I was travelling with my old parents from Mumbai in AC-2tier. It was an overnight journey and both my parents have knee problems and need lower birth for sleeping in the night. At the time of booking we got only one lower birth and other two were upper and side upper birth. I asked the TC if he could arrange for changing one of the upper birth with a lower birth but he flatly refused saying that he cannot do anything. There are two lower birth seats (5 and 6) that reserved for the TC. I requested him if he could give us one of his and use of of our but he said he is not legally allowed to do that. The couple sitting across us also had one lower birth and the husband offered the TC Rs. 1000 and the TC gladly gave him one of his lower birth.
