Bribe to pay property tax
I aproached the municipality to tax my newly built house, the official concerned in the mucipality visited our home for assesment and said that our property tax come to Rs.1200 as the
the govt. guidelines and if you pay me a bribe of Rs.8000/- he promised to make it Rs.600/- I said I would pay Rs.1200/- as tax as per govt. rules, i dont need any reduction.....this happend before two years and our house has not been taxed yet, I approched them once again...........still they are not will to process without bribe.....this is not a new phenomenon I am forty years old I hv been hearing this since my childhood. I dont know why we are wasting money on Vegilance and anti corruption........********** ********** ........********** ********** *******
