Compelling for bribe to obtain a copy of FIR and non traceable report.
Last year in Sept my newly purchased (only 8 month old) Motorbike(Pulsar) has been theft in the intervening night at R K Puram area. First of all, to lodge FIR and to get the copy of the same as well as 'non traceable report' for claiming the insurance, Police authority took almost 8 months. They always ignored me very politely and didn't asked about the bribe but the way they were dealing the case, giving one or another reason every time, it clearly shows that they won't attend me without obliging them. But I had decided to not to pay any bribe or any obligation, despite rounding Police station R K Puram, time and again and spent lots of money in conveyance, but never paid any bribe which I could be able to pay. Finally, when I made a contact in one of the Ministry office through my relative I got the required documents thereby the insurance claim immediately. It shows that how much corruption is spread all over in almost all the departments of the govt.
