Conscious didn't let me
I was there to transfer some property from my fathers name to mine. Got all the documents in line including registration deed etc. The agent demanded me that I should pay Rs. 2500 to get the registration done. I directly went to Sub registrar and presented the documens, As he couldn't find any reason not to accept the application, he picked on copy of my drivers license, I gave him the original and explained him that the copy I got is the best quality as I had an embossed DL, which is hard to copy. After making me wait for couple of hours and testing my patience, he accepted my papers. Got the document registered in two weeks, could have been a two hour task If I paid the bribe.
