Did not Pay a Bribe for KHATA CERTIFICATE
I had purchased a flat from Karnataka Housing Board. I applied for a Khata at the MAYO Hall office. The person accompanying me told me that the people in the office take Rs 1000 as bribe for giving the Khata certificate. I was not willing to pay any bribe.I had to make three trips to the office but once the person realised I was not willing to pay a bribe and planning to ********** the superior officer he issued the Khata *******
