Fixed bribe rules work in BWSSB
It is a working connection. We went for the expansion of the house by adding two rooms in the first floor. We obtained the BDA /BBMP approval also. When construction was on they noticed and with out informing us changed the meter reading for mat to " Partial Commercial" they said this is the law and need not be given a notice. After work completion when we asked for the change of the same to DOMESTIC , the new chapter started. Now the inspector is the key man who controls this dept. According to him, again we have to submit a file with all the documents and obtain the permission . For which the dept to dept charges were listed by him. All put together the bribe alne he asked Rs.12,000 and govt fees of around 7500.
i went to his next superior, he also said go to the inspector he will do the needful. When i went one step above , he is a manager. He also says the charges are reasonable and go through the inspector.
i am yet to ********** the next level person, he is supposed to be a engineer. I do not know what will he say. however i have decided to approach every level and see.
meanwhile i am a looser as i am paying the commercial rate for the domestic usage of water. Naturally when i am asking questions, will the govt babus help us. No way.
our GOVT babus dharma is to squeeze the money....god only know what they do with so much money. There are so many house constructions around, they must be earning huge money out of this racket.
