Got Khata Registration and Certificate without paying a bribe
Khata registration, transfer and certificate process takes a minimum of 30 - 60 days. Just have patience to wait for this time period, follow up during document submission (everything is on the govt website and they dont ask for extra docs), show the site/plot and give the correct DD amount. There will be instances when you will be asked directly/indirectly for a bribe, but resist your temptation to get work done faster. Govt workers are co-operative, if all the correct documents are provided.
