I didnt pay bribe
This is about 6 years ago. I was staying in Vadodara then and had applied for Passport. As per rules I had to undergo passport verification procedure and so for passport verification and background check I was called to Navapura Police station. On that particular day, one doctor and his daughter had also came for passport verification. Police officer asked all three of us few questions. After questionnaire was over doctor handed over few notes of Rs 100 to police officer. I, though knew that these guys had to be bribed otherwise they would not pass me in verification, did not paid any bribe to officer and also he did not asked any. But as expected he failed me in verification on some really foolish grounds. :(. Thanks to my dad who did all the talking later on (but did not pay bribe :) ), I got my passport. My dad had to really fight to get my passport verification cleared without paying any bribe but somehow he managed to do it.
