I don't want to pay a bribe
I write to share my anxiety , frustration and helplessness in combating against corruption , I had been to BBMP office to apply for KHATHA CERTIFICATE for my FLAT , i had all the leagal documents in place . however the BBMP officials is legitimately demanding Rs 3500 as a bribe ( they call it as committee fee) . legally its cost only around Rs 150 for the process . but things will not move till i agree to pay the said bribe. i refused to pay and instantly walked out , am determined to teach them a lesson.
i believe paying bribe is equally a corruption , .Am taunted , frustrated and highly perplexed at this stance , should i resist this or should i join the crowed of corrupted cess pool . I do not have fight club how do i deal with such well established corrupted kingpins .
