Inspector. ********** Fear in Traders
********** who is known to be inspector of labour in sibsagar district of assam has implanted a fear among the trader of sibsagar by not allowing them to open up shops on sundays whether or not the shopkeeper employs any labor. He allows only those shops to remain open who pays him handsome bribe. He doesn't fear of anything since labour minister Mr. ********** ********** (Dibrugarh)is his good friend. Many bribe cases has been reported in local newspaper of sibsagar namely"purvodaya" but no action has been taken by anybody so far. He regularly visits shops on sundays and earn substantial amount of money in the form of bribe from innocent traders. He also issued notice to traders for opening shops on sundays and takes bribe and settle the cases. we dont understand what an innocent trader who doesnot employ labour is to with labour office? He come to office daily by travelling 90km from his hometown in dibrugarh in his own car, i dont know how is this possible for a labour inspector to spend so much on petrol from his limited salary.
