Marriage certificate from Registrar
I went to sub-registrar to know the procedure to apply for Marriage certificate.
Below is my question and how he answered.
ME: Sir I want to apply a marriage certificate for ME, What is the procedure?
Registrar: See in the internet
ME: Sir I'm a ********** minority, Is there any specific procedure to get Marriage Certificate
Registrar: See the internet
ME: How much Fee I need to pay or DD
Registrar: See the internet
ME: Sir do you have application form
Registrar: See the internet
I did not get any answer, But all I can observe is outside the Sub-registrar office there are Brokers who deal with these kind of matters. I went to one who kept stall outside the Sub-reg office. There was a lady who explained me clearly about the procedure and she asked for Rs3000. I asked is 3000 Govt charge against a Marriage Cert, she replied that's our fees. I really do not know who they are and why they want to charge Rs3000 to get me a Marriage Certificate for me. Seems like these guys have tie-up with the govt registrar and sharing the money within themselves. I really do not know what the heck the Govt registrar doing in office.
