Marriage Not Registered At Room NO. 7 ********** Pura Complex
Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is to bring to your kind notice that I wanted to get my marriage registered & hence applied online for the same on 12th July 2011 through your website www.delhigovt.nic.in & choose the date 20/07/2011 for the registration of the marriage. On the acknowledgement receipt it was mentioned that I should visit ADM North-West District Kanjhawala on 20/07/2011 between 10 am to 12:00 pm. Hence I took leave from my office & along with my wife (who is 7 Months pregnant), witness (my aged & unhealthy Father-in-Law) & all relevant documents, visited the ADM Office in Kanjhawala at around 10:45 am. After wasting my time for nearly about 45 minutes in a long queue, I came to know that I should visit Room No. 7 in the office of SDM Rampura as Pitam Pura, Delhi lies in their jurisdiction. Frustrated by the wrong information on the acknowledgement receipt, I had no choice but to return to SDM Rampura Office.
On reaching Room No. 7, ********** Pura, SDM, Complex, we came to know the following from your PA:
1. The SDM is not there as he is busy in a meeting.
2. The online forms will not be accepted as this is not USA.
3. Since the SDM is new & recently been appointed on this post, he has no powers & that it will take around a month before he gets his powers reinstated.
4. That we will have to come at least 3-4 times for the registration of the marriage.
This was really frustrating & we felt like as if we are just simple fools. What is purpose of making things online? Are they for fooling innocent people?
Hence I request you to kindly take action against your PA so that he does not harass innocent people, who take time out of their much busy schedules.
