My daughter declined to offer any money as Bribe
My daughter applied for passport through PSK in Begumpet, Hyderabad. When the official from nearby PS came to verify the antecedents of my daughter, my daughter told me not to offer any bribe as they are paid for verification and do not need any money towards this. Accordingly we did not offer any money to him. Perhaps indirectly he did ask for it when repeatedly he told me that verification is done and he will take leave. We just offered him cup of tea for his trouble. Though he delayed submission of report he did not give an adverse report and my daughter received her passport after a delay of 2 months.
