My father did not want to pay a bribe....thus delay in passport
I am in USA. My family's (father, mother, sister-in-law) passport expired. They applied for renewal - police inquiry was done in time. It is now more than three months their passport has not arrived. It is so pity on the system. Everytime, my father goes to inquire (poor guy), it is told to him that passport are ready and they need to be mailed out - a story my father is listening and telling me for more than 6 weeks now. I just learnt about this website and definitely wanted to report on it - hopefully, the system change. My father spent all his life living honestly, he was in an influential position where he could have made millions, while I was growing, I saw people coming at home with bunch of money for him. For your information, he was incharge of disciplinary cell of one of the big corporation in Delhi. He didn't took a single penny - we are proud of him and will keep that light on in our life too. It is disappointing to hear the story from an honest person. He feel like crying sometime what has happened to the system. God Bless Him! I have the name and details of the passport officer or clerk whoever he is, if he don't do the right thing soon, I am going to put his name on this website.
