ONE CAN HAVE NEW PASSPORT WITHOUT GETTING INVOLVED IN CORRUPTION
Hello readers,
it was month of August 2007 when i applied for a New Passport at Nehru Place Branch, New Delhi. i was shifted to Delhi in July 2006 only. Under the rutin procedure inspector **** had came to my house for Verification. Then he called me to his office. I had submitted documentary proofs more than bare minimum required. he looked at my application, sitting in his office, and asked me "have i brought "KHARCHA PAANI"" (i.e. BRIBE). i told "what is that"? he laughed and said "are you applying for passport for the first time; dont you know KHARCHA PAANI". I refused FIRMLY. he said "ok if you dont pay KHARCHA PAANI your passport will not get issued". I asked him humbly and very FIRMLY "do you need any other documents for the processing of my passport"? he said "no". then i left office and waited for my passport. And to my surprize i got my passport (though one and half month late) at my home.
So guys if we are on right path and have all the documents i think ONE CAN HAVE NEW PASSPORT WITHOUT GETTING INVOLVED IN CORRUPTION. that is what i apply in all fields of my life.
