Open Bribe for Tatkaal Passport by Police
My mother, 74 yrs old, who wishes to visit me abroad, had applied for a passport under Tatkaal scheme, with higher fees. She was granted har passport within the stipulated of 15days. However she received a claa from neraby Police Ststion & aske to visit the police station for verification. Aged lady with a help managed to visit & gave necessary details...however the polceman asked that she has to pay some tip to him for doing the job. She resisted, then she was asked to come again. During her visits she was never asked to sit on chair. teh next time she was again asked for the tip. Fade up with their attitude, she gave Rs.100/- which they refused to take saying hoe high inflation is. My mother ultimately had to shell of Rs.500/-, to avoid his calling back & forth. So even after applying thru' Tatkaal scheme, she had to shell off, hard earned money.
