PF Loan - Expectation of bribe - "Special" Treatment
Recently I identified a property and the savings do not support the cost, I decided to apply for PF loan and submitted form 31 as per rule 68bb. What I understand is that there is bribing system and many were paying. As I does not want to pay bribe I directly given all papers and I can experience the 'special' treatment. Also I learnt that the officers wants to show their 'special' procedure to my appplication ( I am remembering the incident in movie "Indian"). I want to try my best not to pay and still doubtful whether I can succeed. Yesterday I haven't got sound sleep due to this thought that I need to pay bribe for getting loan on my hard earned money and whether i will ultimately pay the bribe in order to avoid financial difficulties?
The questions came to my mind - why a central government officer wants bribe - inspite of decent or reasonable salaries;
- why the people when it comes for discussion on corruption raises voice, but will not implement when it comes to their work they are ready to pay bribe ( i was told most of the persons are paying otherwise their applications stand rejected)?
- why these "babus" will ask bribe if maximum people not paid bribe? so that systemic changes will come.
Inspite of financial difficulties still as of now I do not want to pay bribe. Let me see how my loan application will progress. I want all people their support by way of at least try their best not to pay bribe.
