On 21st Sept, 2103, I got a call from Kondhwa police station, Pune, for my wife passport police verification. We were thinking what could be the reason for calling us as we had already submitted all documents and the police personal visited at our resident also. When we reached there, we came to know the OC wanted the person to be presented before he signed the form. We were quite relax to know that and appreciated the new process. So, the OC signed the form in front my wife. Then, the police personal who was handling the file asked to go to the other room where he sits, for signing the form. In next room, we met a police personal, he asked to sign on the form. My wife signed the form. Then, police person asked to pay fees. He was indirectly asking us to give money in the name of fees. I told him, we had already given fees at office. He asked again whom did you give? I replied again, I had already given to passport office. He asked us to go. Then, we left the police station.
