Rampart Bribe Culture in Municipal Corporation
My grievance pertains to our cities Municipal corporation.Its NWMC.My cities Municipal corporations corruption has surpassed a limit This place no work can be seen done without paying handsome bribe to the concerned officials.All of the officials are very corrupt and usually the commom man is targeted and the reasons for troubling the common man are innumerable and the common man is made to cough money for satisfying the greed of municipal officials.Common man is supposed to follow all the rules and regulations but at the same time the business houses involved in illegal construction activities are given free hand to flout all the rules and regulations for vested interestsComplaining to the officials higher up doesnot help as the officials higher up are on payroll of these high profile corrupt builders and the municipal officials have become so poisonous that if we complaint against any illegalities then the concerned municipal official and the builder makes sure that they break the bone of complainant.These corrupt municipal officials also make sure that on various pretexts they do not provide information to public under the Right to information act.This is all going in our cities municipal corportion.Even the local media supports these crooked officials and builders as they are also on payroll of builders.
