Hi Team,
I had been to the Adhar card registration office with my family and before providing acknowledgement we have been asked to give 20.00 Rs per person. there were 8 to 10 people along with us in the queue and no one objected except for a old man of nearly 70 years. I joined with the old man, raised my voice and asked them to give us a receipt if we have to pay for the acknowledgement. They were still forcing us to pay and told us that they are directed by their higher officer to take the money. then I called the officer and warned him of lodging a complaint if they do not give us the acknowledgement. Finally they agreed to give us the acknowledgement.
I saw a smile on the old man's face.
