Mr. Police Commissioner
Though my earlier complaints (67 Days old) are still to find it's mark viz-a-viz your Lajpat Nagar Police Station's attention to ACT; Here's another to add to my woes.
Within One week, there's been two attempts to break in to my house through the back lanes into my back entrance veranda into my house. Both reported to 100.
In the first Instance, S.I. Bangali Babu together with Constable Amit Kumar came, took several pictures and left with the promise to hand over a copy with a DD No. Till date I haven't received any, despite several personal visits and reminders.
Today again, I heard noises at about 01:10 am from the backyard. On calling "whose there", I heard a thud noise and someone trying to pull the back room outer door which normally remains locked. Hesitantly, I first locked the insides of the same room and then called PCR at about 01:14 AM, only after trying several times the Division officer's number, to no avail. Only when the PCR came, I opened the backyard door. And we found the Entrance door ajar, with a latch broken open
After the 1st attempt of break-in, I had specifically SMS'sd to the SHO and personally spoken to the Adtl SHO requesting them to intensify the BEAT PATROLLING in the by-lanes and back lanes of our area, esp during ODD hours of afternoon and evening. However till date there isn't any visible action.
Pray, please elucidate, does Delhi Police believe in receiving constant reminders from the citizen to do their own job, they circulate with much fan-fare?
How many reminders does our Police Force need from us les mortals, aka citizens to start actual policing?
Do list to us citizen's too, to at least know the detailed Job Profile, Role, KRA's of the Division Officer's of Lajpat Nagar -III, who claim that public can call for HELP only during 09:00 - 21:00 hours of his duty hours, assigned by the SHO Lajpat Nagar Police Station, himself.
Do you think I should sign as a "Thankful" Citizen for all of the above?
