Resisted a bribe to the Ticket Collector
I booked & bought a ticket from Bbsr to Cuttack from the BBSr railways ticket counter. After boarding the train, during the journey, the T.C denied that the ticket couldn't have been bought as there is no provision to issue such a ticket. The T.C thought that as I being a girl was travelling alone, so I might pay him the bribe. He asked to pay him a bribe of 3times of the ticket amount to which I bluntly denied.Because neither was I travelling without a ticket nor was it my mistake (if at all was) to get that ticket. We should be well aware of our rights for which proper awareness is required.
