Saying NO to bribe saved me money and self respect..
I was going to my office and was driving and my phone rang. I saw it’s a red light ahead and picked up the phone, my car was still moving. I stopped and finished talking, two cops on a bike knocked the window and asked me to park the car after the signal. They argued that you were talking while driving and it’s an offense, I explained that I saw the red light signal and hence picked the phone but they were rigid to challan. Finally i told them to give me a challan and i am ready to pay 1k bucks, they were amazed and asked me to pay them a bribe but i was unmoved. They were two and one of them was impressed and asked me to go without paying anything. I went on saying sorry and they both were quarrelling with each other. So my resolution saved me money and self respect.
