Unnecessary Harrassment
I tried to book a train ticket to travel overnight from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam and couldn't get a confirmed ticket, so decided to travel the next day morning by a day train. I boarded Konark express in the last minute in a packed general bogie at secunderabad station. The train next stopped at Kazipet and I got down there and went in search of TTE to get a seat in reserved compartment. I found 2 to 3 sleeper coaches quite empty and TTE told me to sit in some reserved coach and said that he is examining tickets coach by coach and when he reaches me, would allot me a seat. The train left kazipet and then in few minutes a squad came and asked me why I was travelling with an improper ticket. Even after telling him that I took permission of TTE and I am willing to pay the difference of fare, he tried to harrass me. He asked me to come along with him to search TTE and after he spoke to him, would tell me to pay some exhorbitant fine. I said I wouldn't pay fine as I took TTE permission and that there are vacancies in coaches. He took my ticket and would unnecessarily argue with me saying all coaches are full and that I had to appear at Railway court at Khammam, if I am not paying that illegal fine. I said I had no necessity to pay fine and I am willing to appear at Railway court. After an hour or so, he comes back to me, gives me back my ticket and tells me that there are some vacancies and TTE would allot me a seat. I paid difference of fare to TTE and travelled comfortably to *******
