What are the citizen rights for built up area measurement. How can one make sure that AE measures the right values.

Super built up area / built up area, carpet area are defined in National Building Code and building bye-laws of the municipalities / development authorities have been formulated basing on provisions contained in the National Building Code. You can demand from the concerned Assistant Engineer to show you the relevant provisions while taking measurements and satisfy yourself that the measurement are being taken as per provisions in the National Building Code / building bye-laws.
