This is indeed strange! Does not the developer know how much property he is selling to you? It is his business to know. Alternatively, do you have a sketch of the entire property? You could get a copy of this from the developer and then mark our your property on it. As regards improvement charges, if he has not paid it, please remember that you might have to pay this at a later date.</p>

Dear Raghu, Indira again. I asked the developer for the documents you mentioned for registering my mother's house.Proof of improvement charges paid, if any. He says there is no such charges we will pay only tax to the land after purchasase of land and will optain only indidudal site khatha.A Sketch showing the location and measurements of the property ( give a certified measurement) He says there is no such document) and that I have to take care of the location and scetch copy. He will give me the other documents like Khata extract, sale deed, etc. Thanks, Indira
