Hello Sir/ ma'am,

My name is Archana and I was born in Chennai in 1983. My birth certificate has two main issues

1. My name is still not entered
2. My dad's name which is Sudershan Kumar is entered by mistake as Sounderesa Kumar.

How can this be changed. I went to the Ashok Nagar local municipality and they asked me to bring a document which is as old as 30 years to make changes ( like my parents marriage certificate or passport at that time ) We don't have any of these.

How can I solve the situation. Need this ASAP for my studies abroad.
