Sorry to hear about your situation. I suggest you visit the passport office to track the status of your application. The trouble is the officers may dilly-dally the situation in hope of extacting a bribe from you. Do not succumb to it. Carry a written complaint with you which you could give to the senior official in the department in case the officer you are dealing with is corrupt.
