I am living in my own house in Bangalore with BWSSB water connection...
I am living in my own house in Bangalore with BWSSB water connection. Intending to construct a room on 1st floor after approval of plan by BBMP. ( Now only ground floor. There is no other construction on 1st floor it is fully open space) My domestic water consumption per month is around 18 thousand liters. My question is (1) is it necessary to apply for another water meter for the water to be used for construction purposes. (2) will the BWSSB charges commercial rate for the entire water consumed me (including water used for domestic and construction purpose) OR they charge 18 thousand liters at the domestic rate and whatever comes above 18 thousand liter utilised for construction at commercial rate? (3) How to apply for permission to utilise the present water supply for construction purpose and what are the Government rates, what are the prescribed BWSSB forms to be filled and submitted etc., (4) is it necessary to obtain permission from BWSSB to purchase water for construction purpose from the private persons ( water supply firms etc.,).
