I bought a flat in shipra sun city ghaziabad in the joint names of myself and my mother in Sep'10.It was purchased with a registered deed. I paid the agent money for the mutation. He gave me a mutation letter after three months of registry.My mother died in 2014.So I applied for mutation of her share in property in my name. But authority informed me that the agent had given me a fake mutation letter.SO matter had to be informed to the police. I have submitted all the documents required by the authority afresh for mutation in my name except for the no-objection from the sellers who are not traceable now. Newspapers notices have been published and no body(neither the sellers) has raised any objection even after 7 months of publication. Even then I submitted an indemnity bond to indemnify the authority in case any loss occurs to the authority as a result of mutation in my name. But the authority is insisting on the seller's no-objection. Please advise how to convince the authority.-Rajeev Srivastava
