I bought a bike before six month and that time i didnt transferred RC...

I bought a bike before six month and that time i didnt transferred RC on my name.
Unfortunatly I have lost Bike paper except insurance paper (valid upto 2009).
Now because m leaving tamilnadu.....I want new RC and transfer the bike on my name.
How can I get the new Rc........the owner of the bikr is shifted to mumbai???
