I was engaged to a girl in 2005. While applying for the passport
I was engaged to a girl in 2005. While applying for the passport in 2006, my father had put her name as spouse in passport application form. So her name ended up in the spouse column of my passport.
Unfortunately the engagement was called off and I married in 2007. Now I want my wife's name added to the passport and the name currently in the passport to be removed.
Please provide necessary guidance. This situation is really tormenting for me and I have been severely traumatized for past two years as I am outside India and my wife cannot travel with me because of this issue.
