Many Government MBBS doctors apply for sponsorship quota in MD or MS Post-graduation seat as government employees. If selected they take paid study leave and sign a bond with government to continue work for some years under Govt. since they receive paid leave as well as quota PG seat. If they are a defaulter of the bond a fine is imposed (20 to 40 lakhs) but most of the time this rule is not applied. These doctors enjoy d facilities and leave Govt. job as soon as they complete PG without paying bond money. It is a waste of public money. How can a proper rule be imposed to prevent this.
