My passport was issued on 23.09.1997 and is valid till 22.09.2017.…

My passport was issued on 23.09.1997 and is valid till 22.09.2017. But though it is valid, I can not apply for a schengan visa as it was issued more than 10 years ago. Can I get a new passport through the tatkal service in the next few days?
