Myself Prachita Kalbande. Me and my husband are both residents of Madhya Pradesh but our Marriage Venue was Nagpur which is in Maharashtra state. Now, for transfer purpose I (am working in HCL Tech, Noida and need transfer to Nagpur) need to submit my Marriage Certificate to my company. We had asked this in MP and they said that we need to get our certificate from the Marriage Venue state. And when we went to Maharashtra, they said that we need to get the certificate from our Residential state. We both ahve citizenship and voting cards of Madhya Pradesh state.
Can you please assist in letting us know that as per our case, where do we need to get the certificate from? Also if possible help us with any Advocate or Marriage registrar officer for this. This is causing a lot of problem and delaying my transfer process as well.
