Need to pay bribe to BBMP household Waste pickers
I am not very happy to write this, but paying a bribe has gone to such a pity case, that i want to voice it out.
I stay in ISRO layout, near Banashankari and the BBMP household waste pickers, who come to every house to pick the waste, ask for bribe.
I refused to pay them because they are doing their job, and I obviously dislike to pay a bribe.
The supervisor had so much of shame that she asked the wastepicker (who did not know kannada) to fight with me and my husband for not paying, and SHE ALSO THREW OUR WASTE COVER BACK INTO OUR HOUSE. How disgusting that can be!
My husband was so upset with this, that he wanted me to give up and pay them, but I still refuse to do that.
We live in a country like India, where waste pickers have also started harrassing us for a bribe.
