Neighbor causing trouble
Hi My neighbor has constructed house next to my house without leaving any space. When I protested initially he pointed that my house has a violation too. Yes, about 8 ft of my house is fully constructed without leaving the set back. I am now planning to correct it by shifting the stair case and leaving the required amount of space. This was a bought house and I did not construct it. Luckily there is more vacant place at the back so that I can easily move the stair case. My neighbor however has not left an inch anywhere on all 4 sides. He says his site is smaller than mine however he has constructed 2 shops in that site. He is a mean minded person and thinks only for himself and not about his neighbors. He is trying to exploit my house's fault to keep my mouth shut. When I correct my violation, what can I do so that he also follows the rules? Though I don't mean any harm/inconvenience to anybody it pains me when people act so greedy and try to exploit others weaknesses. I also wanted to keep good relationships with the neighbors. What can be done?
