Private medical college and its deemed university forcing and harassing exam undergiong Post graduates
As post graduates in this private medical college the students here have been subjected to endless harassments and demands by the management especially the " Chairman" who is the founder and owner of this university to provide illegal "solutions"/ "fines". Before ending our 3 year course we were disqualified unofficially for exiting exams on basis of low attendance which was "corrected " after meeting the chairman and feeding him the "standard fine" of 6 lacs only! After surviving their endless greed we prepared and sat through our course ending exams with theory part and the MCI( Medical council of India) monitored practical exam. The whole practical exam was doctored some post-graduates were deliberately failed by the external examiners brought by the management and the reason of deliberation was to provide an picture of an fair post-graduate exam in the university so that MCI would now have no problem in recognizing the several branches/specialties in which these practical exams were conducted. Our Internal examiners were aghast as some of the best candidates were wrongfully failed. The MCI Observers/inspectors never inspected the exam proceedings completely ; they were hand -in-glove with the management and top honchos of MCI in Delhi were already arranged. Typically only Specialties with 3-4 candidates or more were subjected to a doctored " pass some and fail some" result . Specialties with single candidates or non-clinical specialties had 100% pass result.
Not only the failed candidates had ruined careers just because their result was predetermined on piece of paper given by the "chairman" (who has never had any formal education of any kind) they were also subjected to illegal fees of 5 lac rupees as additional fees for not passing and six months of additional course fee when the students had already completed their 3 years of their training.
More trauma for these post-gratuates ; although having undergone the re-exam all the candidates had to pay 4 lacs more to pass and were forced to sign on papers that stated that they are working as Senior Residents ( which are harder to get in clinical branches ) in their respective feilds in an different up-coming medical college also run by the Chairman. The message was clear sign or fail again. That means we will come up as senior residents when MCI team visits these colleges for inspection so that this college may also start MBBS courses of its own. Our certificates are with this institution and we cant take jobs even as MBBS doctors. Even a certificate stating that we appeared in the MD/MS exams and have completed our couse is not being given.
Now after 3 Months the result of the reappear candidates is still not out although the the previous post-graduate exam result was out in 10 days with even larger number of candidates.
i had dreamt to be an specialist doctor and had always thought the traing would be tough , the proferrors and seniors would be harsh and have to endure a lot of criticism in my work and that i have work harder and study even harder to be an specialist doctor. But when i got admitted in this medical college i never contemplated the trauma i had to suffer from the management of this institution for the selfish gains of the Chairman. Its been 9 months since i have completed my course that i cant apply for any job and have been wrongfully deprived of an qualification for which i have already gone through enough.
I just want the MCI and Government authorities or enforcement authorities checking MCI to listen to students of these private medical colleges who easily get deemed university status and alter results as they want . The students in these colleges are exploited at every step and MCI has never bothered to listen or take any action
What should i do ? what can i do when i know that they can still fail me again if i protest or report this openly ?
